Group 7
Nathaly's group developed the topic “Numbers and objects of the classroom" based on listening skills. as a warm up activity they did the game "head, shoulders, knees and feet"... but the students had to do what they heard not what they saw because sometimes the teacher touched his head but the audio said shoulders. Then Maria explained the numbers from 1 to 100 and Miriam explained the objects in the classroom. To make sure the students understood she showed them some pictures asking them which one of these pictures is.... ?
As a practice activity Dani had recorded
herself telling a story in which she mentioned many numbers and objects in the
classroom and the students had to listen and write down the number and object
they heard.
And as a wrap up activity there was a group
activity called “Celebrities and journalist" some students were
celebrities and the others were journalists, the journalists had to walk around
the room asking the celebrities their name and phone number.
Group 8
Jaime's group also developed the topics of
numbers and objects in the classroom but focused on reading skills. Jaime
explained how to form sentences using the verb to be in an interrogative form.
Then Keneth explained the importance of reading and gave the students some
pages with a paragraph that they had to read and then answer 5 questions. As a
third point Mauricio taught about objects in the classroom and numbers. Finally,
Joaquin asked the students questions about the class. Finally, Joaquin asked
