Here I share with you a picture of our lesson planning:
The target vocabulary on medical words will
be shown in a presentation simulating flashcards. First a picture of the word
will be shown, then the word and then the meaning, giving the context in which
they can be used.
3- Practice
To familiarize themselves with the
vocabulary, students will be given a sheet with a word search puzzle in which
they will have to look up 8 words seen in the presentation.
1. Students should stand up
2. The first person in line will be given a
hat with some papers attached with a ribbon, this person must put the hat on,
turn around and give it to the next person.
3. When the music stops, the student who
has the hat must take a piece of paper with the vocabulary learned in class and
make a sentence using the word.
5- Wrap up- Matching
Students will be given a worksheet to match the vocabulary studied on the left column with the correct definition in the right column.
Group 2- Third conditional
Group 2 taught us about the Third conditional and how it helps us talk about things that did not happen that
could have happened "
Structure:
If + past perfect, would/wouldn’t have + past participle.
Example:
"If you have told me about the party, I would prepared some snacks."
Group 3 taught us culinary vocabulary which
are words that help chefs and food enthusiasts to communicate easily.
Some new words I learned were:
Velouté: is a type of French sauce
Chiffonade:
Group 4 taught us about the use of the Second conditional (I admit that I had never understood this topic but their way of explaining it was so good that now I totally understood it 😅).
The second conditional is used to talk
about things that are impossible or unrealistic.
