Last entry :(

 

Welcome to the last entry of this semester, I must accept that when I started studying Enlgish Didactics I, I was very afraid of not being able to teach because I am shy but from the beginning teacher Orlando helped us to feel comfortable and gave us all the strategies to develop ourselves, to speak in public, to control our body and to do activities to get the attention of our students. 

In the last classes we did group presentaions and each group had to do an activiy to promote:

 Listening👂

Jonathan's group

Played some audios and then we had to participate by answering some questions.

Miriam's group

Performed the broken telephone game and we all had to participate, I´m not a good at playing this game so when it was my turn to transmit the message I said everything wrong 😂

Activities focused on Speaking:

Rodrigo's group

Carried out three activities:

1. Spelling

2. Saying sentences using modal verbs 

3. Making up a story based on some crazy images such as a puppy playing the piano and a frog riding a bicycle. 

Maria Eugenia's group

Presented a single dynamic based on the question "What is the youngest age the oldest age for...

... Going to a music festival 

... Drive

Activities focused on Reading: 

My group and I

We presented two reading activities, one for basic level called "A great summer vacation" and one for advanced level called "Spanish Flu Pandemic of 1918" and the we did some multiple choice questions. 

Activities focused on Writing:

Diana's group

Presented the following questions; 

Whay was your childhood nickname?

Write the name of a clothe for examples: skirt

Write an expression

Write a verb ending in -ing

Write a phrase of a song 

Write a profession

and with the answer you have to write a story.

Those were the presentations of last weeks and I want to thank you teacher Orlando for your dedication and effort in teaching us to become excellent teachers in everything we do.
