Collaborative approach

Hi! Welcome to a new post! Thank you for joining me in the learning of this beautiful subject. 

We are currently in the second registry and I can say thay every topic we have seen and the methodology has been intersting and funny.

The topic we learned this week was Collaborative Approach and it consist of three main topics:

1. Community language learning. 

In this approach nothing is prepared and things just flow, it is important to rememmber that we need our tribe to learn. 

2. Task based learning 

This approach consist of students learning by doing short activities. 

3. Content- based learning 

It is centered to be collaborative, this approach promotes  groupwork activities in classroom. 

Also we learned about Collaborative activities that consist of students participating in group discussions, completing shared task, competitive games, role play, information exchange activities, and any kind of activity that promotes group participation. 

In this class we participate in different activies and some of them are: 

Listening triangles: 

In this activity learnes work together in groups of three: a speaker, a questioner and a note-taker. Teacher Orlando introduce some ideas on a specific topic and a group would have to ask questions until they could identify what the topic was about.

Talk partners: 

Learnes are paired for short discussion activities. Here Teacher Orlando gave each of us some rots and we had to look for people who had the same rot color and then talk about a specific topic, in this case each one was in charge of representing and imaginary country and share the ideas we would implement to improve in different aspects such as health.
